FAQ
-
What is the difference between the different models?
We have created a table that provides an overview of the features for the different models, see link (scroll down the page): Our smart toilets – Toaletto
-
What is your warranty and where are the products shipped from?
Our bidets come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. We have our warehouse in Gothenburg and our normal delivery times are 2-4 working days with PostNord. We deliver to Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
-
Do you offer assembly / installation?
Unfortunately, we do not offer assembly or installation. We recommend that you contact a qualified plumber / electrician if you need assistance.
-
What are the dimensions of the bidets?
All models have the same basic dimensions, see link (scroll down the page): Our smart toilets – Toaletto.
KLLOM 500 – Deluxe has a separate control panel / remote control (powered by 2 x AA batteries) with a corresponding bracket (double-sided adhesive tape included).
-
Where can I find manuals and what needs to be connected?
See link for manuals (scroll down the page): Manufacturers & Manuals – Toaletto.
230V electricity and cold water must be connected, please contact authorized craftsmen if assistance is needed.
-
How long is the power cord and are the products CE approved?
The cord is 1.5m long and has a standard EU plug. Of course, our products are CE approved by the manufacturer Intertec.
-
Will the included hose / connections fit my toilet?
The manufacturer has developed a standard kit based on the most common dimensions. However, this is no guarantee that the included fittings / hoses will fit your specific toilet and its installation.
-
What is the maximum permissible weight?
According to the manufacturer's tests, the shower toilets can withstand a maximum weight of 150kg for 10 minutes.
-
How is the water for the bidet nozzle sprayer heated?
The bidets have a built-in in-line heater that instantly heats the incoming cold water during use; no cold water comes out of the spray, and it is a very pleasant experience.
-
How much electricity does the bidet consume?
The bidets have a nominal power consumption of 1600-1900W when in use, where the water heater has a power of 1600W and the seat heater has 50W. There is an energy-saving mode that can be activated when the toilet is not in use.
-
Does your bidet fit on my toilet according to your fit guide?
Our fit guide, see link (scroll down the page): Easy installation – Toaletto, is based on our own testing on newer toilet models. This is no guarantee that you will find it aesthetically pleasing on your particular toilet, as porcelain thickness and other factors affect it, and aesthetics are subjective. If you are not satisfied, we accept returns within 14 days as long as the bidet toilet has not been used (for hygiene reasons) and as long as all accompanying accessories/packaging are returned to us intact and in good condition. A return shipping fee will be added.
-
Which specific toilets are suitable for your bidets?
Based on our own assessment and customer input, we know that the following floor-standing toilets are considered to have an aesthetically acceptable fit:
Ifö Spira 6240 / 6260 (ok+), Ifö Sign (ok) Gustavsberg Estetic 8300 (ok++), Gustavsberg Nautic 1510/1546 (ok), Gustavsberg Nordic (ok), Svedbergs (ok). The best fit is achieved with wall-hung toilets with a separate built-in cistern, which typically measure 50-51cm from the wall to the edge of the porcelain rim.
-
What incoming water pressure can the bidet withstand?
Incoming water pressure in Swedish properties is normally between 3 and 5.5 bar; our units have a maximum specification of 7.5 bar. Water pressure over 6 bar can be damaging to appliances/water heaters, and a pressure reducing valve is required.
-
When is an ion filter needed?
In case of hard water or a private well (due to higher mineral content in the water), it is highly recommended to install our ion filter between the incoming water hose and the shower toilet. Otherwise, there is a high risk that internal components will clog over time and stop working. Our warranty does not cover this type of preventable wear and tear. Our ion filter can be purchased here: Ion Filter – Toaletto
-
What maintenance is required?
We recommend regular cleaning of the mesh filter in the unit's water inlet, as well as cleaning the shower toilet's surfaces with a soft cloth and gentle cleaning agents. If an ion filter has been installed, it needs to be replaced after approximately 4-6 months.
